Indiana Cut Stone is proud to announce that the 2nd Annual Masonry Contractors Workshop will be held in the Spring of 2012. This event will be held at the Indiana Cut Stone fabrication facility located near Bedford Indiana.

Indiana Cut Stone, in partnership with the Indiana Limestone Company is putting on a free educational event for masonry contractors. The theme for this year’s Masonry Contractors Workshop is “Indiana Limestone, everything a mason needs to know about working with this material”,

This event has become the signature event of the Indiana Limestone Industry. The Masonry Contractors Workshop is a two day event designed specifically for masonry contractors that want to learn more about Indiana Limestone and participate in approved courses available for Mason Contractors Association of America (MCAA) certification credits. This training will enable masonry contractors to learn more about working with Indiana Limestone which has been known for over 100 years as “America’s Building Stone”.

• Up to 10 hours of Indiana Limestone approved training courses available for MCAA certification credits
• A masonry industry trade show where exhibitors from manufacturers, suppliers and service providers can meet their core customers.
• An outdoor theater where industry professionals will demonstrate their company’s new products and equipment to masonry contractor attendees.
• A dramatic tour of a gigantic Indiana Limestone quarry, courtesy of the Indiana Limestone Company
• A detailed look at Indiana Cut Stones’ limestone fabrication facility.

There will be a whole range of exciting and informative blocks of instruction where each attendee can decide exactly which subjects they want to participate in. There will be Indiana Limestone specific training stations on both basic and advanced techniques. At any given time, there will be multiple training activities taking place and attendees can participate in the ones that are most important to them.

This important event will give masonry contractors an opportunity to send both new and experienced masons to learn from the experts everything they need to know about working with Indiana Limestone. Masons will come out of the training with a deep understanding of the Indiana Limestone building material as well as a certificate of attendance. The knowledge gained at this workshop will enhance masons ability to complete new construction and restoration projects that contain Indiana Limestone, “America’s Building Stone”.
